Sara Gasiorowski, MBA, SNS, Senior Consultant

Sara comes to ProTeam with over 40 years of school nutrition experience. She recently retired as the Director of Child Nutrition from the MSD of Wayne Township in Indianapolis, Indiana after 26 years where she led a team of over 175 team members. During her time at Wayne Township, the program grew to participate in all of the federal school meal programs, became a CEP district, and renovated/built 16 kitchens. Sara has extensive experience in financial management, all areas of procurement, kitchen design, and helped establish the West Indy Coop (WIC) which serves over 100,000 students in central Indiana. Sara has been actively involved with the School Nutrition Association serving on the Public Policy & Legislative Committee as the Mideast Representative and committee chair, SNA Board of Directors and Executive Committee as the Mideast Regional Director/Chair of the Regional Directors, and on the Leadership Development Committee.

What I love about my work:

I love helping school nutrition directors to be successful by supporting them with my knowledge and experience in procurement, financial management, kitchen design and renovations, or whatever they may need.

Fun Fact:

I love to travel and hiking in the national parks.
