Katie Kwikkel, RD, Menu Consultant
Katie is a Registered Dietitian with over 7 years of experience in foodservice operations, 4 of which are dedicated to child nutrition.
Most recently, she worked as the Wellness Manager for Chartwells K12 at Duval County Public Schools. Katie worked as the senior leader of menu development to ensure all meals met federal guidelines, fell within cost standards, and increased participation. She was also responsible for overseeing their 400+ food allergy program, training on audit readiness, and working closely with other departments to source and create student favorites.
What I love about my work:
“I believe that all students should have access to healthy school meals that they actually want to eat. I love being that person to help operators achieve this by navigating them through the regulations and any challenges that may come up.”
