Barbara Kincaid, MA, SNS, Consultant

Barbara brings a well-rounded background in Child Nutrition to our team. Having been the Food Service Director for Boone County Schools as well as a Child Nutrition Consultant for the state of Kentucky, she understands school nutrition from both sides of the profession. As Director, she opened numerous new schools working diligently from design to meal service. She can provide a variety of services for districts with her background in training, staffing, cafeteria operations and marketing. Barbara brings an experienced, fresh look to your program. She can also assist with evaluating staffing/supervision needs and can assist directors on compliance for federal child nutrition programs.

What I love about my work:

I love working with people who are passionate about doing great things. Child nutrition folks are truly the finest example of that with a "Children First" priority in everything they do. From menu planning to facility preparation, procurement and marketing to that beautiful meal served with a smile -- child nutrition is the best!

Interesting fact:

Quilting is a new hobby, and I'm learning from everyone I meet. Just like school nutrition people, quilters are generous with their knowledge and kindness.
