Kymm Mutch, MS, RDN, CD, Senior Consultant

What I love about my work: I love helping school districts find solutions to make their operations more efficient and get better food on the tray.

A fun fact about me: I worked in two different psychiatric facilities treating addictions and disordered eating.

Kymm spent nearly a decade as director of School Nutrition Services for Milwaukee Public Schools. During her time as administrator she started a successful Breakfast in the Classroom program, sourced locally grown greens, shoots and carrots for the snack and meal programs and turned around a $2.5 million dollar deficit in one year by increasing participation and adding the dinner program.  She worked Nationally for School Food FOCUS to leverage the buying power of large urban school districts to change the K12 food supply chain to bring less processed, cleaner labeled products to the cafeteria tray. She managed procurement for MPS, with a $20 million food budget, as well as for three regional co-ops in Kentucky, Michigan, and Wisconsin.

She has extensive training as a registered dietitian and mental health counselor, staff management expertise, as well as experience in developing functional supply chains for school food authorities through collaborative efforts. Kymm also has presented at numerous state, regional, and national conferences on topics related to the management of school nutrition programs and strategies for transitioning to local procurement.

As a Pro•Team Senior Consultant, Kymm lends her expertise to a variety of projects, providing direction on procurement, production planning, menu concepts, and labor and productivity.
