“Jean Ronnei met with our staff and toured our facilities, and provided a report that really helped me with plan priorities by outlining options that covered cafeteria and kitchen design to staffing, technology and marketing. It was super helpful to me and my team as well as providing a solid backing on ideas that I could present to my boss.”

“The D60 Foodworks brand developed by Pro•Team and installed by their partner, Visualz, fits our community, district and students perfectly and has become a point of pride for the entire district. Pro•Team listened to stakeholders throughout the process and as such, their expertise was put to use by conducting a virtual SWOT analysis during COVID. Their depth of experience and professionalism was reflected in this much needed report.”
— Dana Elkins Greene, RDN, Director of Nutrition Services, Pueblo City Schools
“When I started my role in a new school district, I knew I needed Pro•Team to help prioritize goals and processes. Through a combination of virtual meetings and an on-site review, Jean and Brittany provided my team with refreshing ideas and pointed us in directions we hadn't thought of. It was clear they really cared about our situation and invested themselves in the process. We have noted financial wins, re-organized the department and have clear steps to take going forward.”
— Gay Anderson SNS, Child Nutrition Director, Sioux Falls Public Schools
“[Pro•Team’s] review really jump-started changes that are great for our team and our program. The real-life experience [Jean] brought to us was incredible. And in particular, the salary/wages benchmarking was really helpful. We now have an awesome plan on total wage restructure.”
— Dana Rieth, RDN, LRD, SNS, Food Service Director, West Fargo Public Schools
“With Pro•Team’s help, our district has laid out a template for changes over the course of the next year to gradually enhance our food service experience.”
— Sue Goyette, Business Manager, School District of Mauston
“While COVID-19 has forced a new way of working, it hasn’t changed some of the fundamentals of feeding kids nutritious meals, consistently. Building on Pro•Team’s Fresh Eyes Review and insights, we’re taking advantage of the new ways of working to evolve how we manage our teams to deliver an even stronger foodservice program. We’re shifting some responsibilities and empowering more leaders on our teams, and seeing more clearly the value in collaboration to save time, energy and money.”
- Jane Bender, Supervisor Of Child Nutrition, Minnetonka Public Schools, MN
“Our recent partnership with Pro•Team Advisors and their Fresh Eyes Review was a huge win-win for our district. Jean Ronnei brought her passion and expertise for CN programs to NISD, TX, which made our staff comfortable and open to recommendations. The input ultimately set the stage for better approach to continuous improvement for our district. The fresh perspective also really helps with strategic planning. Simply put, Pro•Team Advisors has a wealth of knowledge in CN Programs, and I highly recommend.”
— Thomas Wherry, Director Child Nutrition Services, Northside Independent School District, TX
“Pro•Team was extremely helpful during my transition as a new Director. Their Fresh Eyes audit allowed me to jump up the learning curve as quickly as possible. This audit condensed information that would have taken me a lot of valuable time to observe. With the heightened expectations placed on Directors it is imperative to get up to speed as soon as possible to prevent any disruption to the program.”
- Michael Manning, Director of Food & Nutrition, Richfield Public Schools ISD #280
Pro·Team Foodservice Advisors recently partnered with Bismark Public Schools for a Fresh Eyes Review. A priority for the team: to enhance the product delivery schedule for more efficient management, especially for their smaller schools. With Pro·Team help, they eventually moved all 16 schools on an improved delivery system, saving both time and headaches!
Even though the team was dealing with daily challenges while operating during the COVID pandemic, Dana Rieth, West Fargo Foodservice Director, recognized the value of an outside perspective to help evaluate their program for possible improvements today, and to inform planning for the next school year.
COVID-19 created many challenges for foodservice teams. Districts faced new hurdles with supply chain disruptions, packaging most of their food, delivering meals to classrooms and decreased participation. Pro•Team partnered with Mauston School District to address some of the challenges through a Fresh Eyes Review.
The foodservice team at Rapid City Area Schools had lots of ideas for improvement but weren’t sure where to begin. With the expert guidance of Pro•Team Foodservice Advisors, RCAS evaluated its staffing, menus, delivery systems, and marketing to identify priorities to lift their program to the next level.
CPS needed a strategy for growth but there were multiple obstacles. Staff time was limited, and resource constraints were a factor. Further, leadership perspectives were just too close to the source, rendering an objective evaluation almost impossible. What they needed was a fresh pair of eyes; that’s where Pro·Team excels.
