CAFETERIA MAKEOVERS
Design & installation of customized environmental graphics
Design support services to modernize your serving and dining spaces with consistent branding, thoughtful layout design, and engaging graphics.
WHY INVEST IN BRANDING YOUR SPACE?
Implementing consistent environmental graphics is a simple and affordable way to update an older space without the elevated costs and program interruptions that arise when undergoing more substantial spatial re-design such as tearing down walls or installing new equipment.
When you invest in ProTeam’s Cafeteria Makeover program, our design team incorporates all elements of your program into one unified brand concept through the design and implementation of a suite of custom wrap products.
Our services are endlessly customizable and tailored to meet the specific needs, preferences, and objectives of each of our clients. Working closely with our design team allows you to explore myriad options to create a cafeteria space that reflects your vision and enhances the overall dining experience for your customers.
LEXINGTON CITY SCHOOLS
“The design was clean and nurturing. The team had great advice and customer service was excellent. With no other changes, our breakfast participation is up 2.5% after just the first month.”
— Amelia Holland, School Nutrition Director, Lexington City Schools
THE THREE PHASE PROCESS
When undergoing environmental makeovers, our number one priority is developing a project plan that aligns with your needs and minimizes disruptions to your daily operations.
While the exact time and resource allotment required on your part will vary based on the size and scope of the project, the process will generally adhere to the following three phases.
Initial Consultation and Planning: Initial meetings and consultations with ProTeam to discuss your vision, requirements, budget, and timeline for the cafeteria makeover.
Collaborative Design Process: Collaborate with ProTeam on the design process. This includes reviewing and providing feedback on design drafts, and then approving the final design.
Logistics and Installation: Coordinate access to your cafeteria space, and be available during the install process to address any issues that arise. Review the finished installation and address any follow-up that is needed.

FAQs

The 3M vinyl wrap used in the makeover can be applied to a variety of surfaces: wood, brick, tile, glass, drywall, stainless steel. Cloth surfaces seem to be the only exception.
-
Product/Installation Warranty:
3M 480mc Graphic Film products will be used in this project. This project has a 5-year limited warranty from 3M, and a 10 Year Life Expectancy. The product is fire rated for foodservice use. Product Article Letter (MSDS) is on file. It also has a 1-year installation warranty on the completion date of the project.
Cleaning and Durability
The material includes an Overlaminate Protectant applied to protect the color and the surface of the film applied to the wall. This overlaminate allows the murals to be cleaned with non-abbrasive sponges combined with mild detergents. Mild soap and water are preferred. These are easy to be cleaned and work well in schools and food serving areas.
To clean: Use a soft cloth with soapy hot water. Do not use any type of scratch pad or scrubby. Use Non-Abrasive cleaners. For best results clean the surface as quickly as possible after a spill.
When damage occurs by carts scraping against and other forms of mishandling (i.e. children picking at it), the murals or damaged sections can be replaced by cutting out the sections and replacing them (similar to a patch.) This is the cost-effective way to repair a section, without removing and installing a new wall mural.

Prior to installation all surfaces need to be clean and free from tape or tape residue, nails, screws etc. If you choose to paint a wall prior to installation that wall needs to cure for 14 days prior to the wrap being applied. Depending on the size of the project, our certified installers are in and out within 1-2 days for most projects.

Yes! We have a graphic design team that works with clients to develop their brand and then incorporate it into foodservice spaces. These brand assets can then be shared for other purposes within your program: website, uniforms, letterhead, food labels, etc.
